My Baby Sweater

I saw several versions of 5HBS (5 hour baby sweater). I tried them all but wasn’t happy with them, so I made a few changes and this is my version.


Sizes: newborn – 3 months old.
Materials: 220 yards of DK weight yarn
for the newborn size, 220 yards of
worsted weight yarn for the 3 months
old size.
Needles: US #10.5 - straigh and dpns
4 stitch holders.

Materials: 100 [150 / 200] yards of DK or worsted weight.

Needles: US #10.5 dpns for the hat, US #8 dpns for the I-cord.

You'll need a ball in each color.
Gauge: 18 sts/4" on US #8
Needles" US #8 circular and dpns
Sizes 0-3 months (1-2 years).
